SpeakTiger, Lisbon, Portugal. We organize social events in Lisbon, Amsterdam and other cities.

What we collect
When you buy a ticket
Your name, phone number, email address and payment confirmation. Tickets are sold through Luma, which processes the payment.

When you fill in our questionnaire (for certain events)
Before some events we ask you to answer a short set of questions about your interests, conversation preferences and background. This is optional, but we use it to assign you a seat at a table.

When you join a WhatsApp group
Your phone number and the name shown on your WhatsApp profile. Other guests in the group can see this data as well.

At the event
Whether you attended, which table you sat at, and photos or videos (see below).

Through our apps
Your name is stored and sent to us. We use this information to see the attendance of the event.

On our website
Basic technical information such as your browser type is collected by our hosting provider.

Why we collect it
To run the event you're attending – sending you confirmation emails, instructions, checking you in at the door, managing the guest list.

Photo and video
We photograph and film our events and publish the results on our Instagram, WhatsApp and on other channels. If you would rather not appear, emails us before the event or tell the host when you arrive – no explanation needed, and we keep you out of the shots. If something has already been published and you want it removed, email us and we will take it down within 7 days.
